Riddle me this

How do people get their sketches to be so clean, if you look at my gallery you can see every little pencil smuge on the paper but stuff like this: [link] what the hell? is it talent, photoshop or neat drawing, I feel like drawing some more maybe my skteches will come out better but ya know I hate the smeary, how to get rid of the smeary, anyone know?
